About Zoe!
Born and adopted from China, now based in NYC, Zoe Katherine Liebold earned her BFA in Dance from Fordham University and the Ailey School. She performed works by Pedro Ruiz, Helen Simoneau, Ray Mercer, Hope Boykin, and Tracy Inman. She also received a BA in Environmental Studies, and a minor in Peace and Justice Studies.
Zoe trained with City Center Ballet Company, Boston Ballet School, Walnut Hill School for the Arts, and the American Ballet Theatre and is a scholarship recipient from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and the Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Dance Program.
As a multi-disciplinary artist, Zoe has worked on the set of the Netflix Series, “Hit & Run”, as well as with Troy Schumacher (BalletCollective, NYCB), Alice Klock and Florian Lochner (Flockworks Dance), Andrea Miller (Gallim), and in Twyla Tharp’s, TWYLA NOW at New York City Center in which she was featured in articles in Dance Magazine and The New York Times. Her regional credits include The King and I (Ensemble/Buddha), South Pacific (Ensemble), West Side Story (Ensemble).
Currently, Zoe is represented by CESD Talent Agency for Dance and is a passionate teacher of Crossfit training, Pure Barre, SLT, and various dance techniques– some of her favorites include Contemporary Ballet, Improvisation, and Advanced Ballet and Pointe.
